| Applying
for membership at Great Falls Budokan is an important first
step towards studying the arts we teach. Prospective members
are required to schedule an appointment to watch at a minimum, one
class prior to applying for membership. After class is
complete we will answer any relevant questions you might have about the
dojo.
Once an individual decides to apply for membership, they will need to be interviewed by the instructor. During this interview please don't think of the dojo as a school where, in order to receive instruction, all you have to do is fill out some forms and pay tuition. You are applying for admission to a very exclusive private organization, one in which just thinking, "This looks like it might be interesting to do for awhile," is not enough to qualify you for admission… We do not publish our criteria for admission. However, we do recommend you treat the admissions process with the same level of detail and formality you would a job interview. For those interested in inquiring about membership, we recommend you read this article to gain further insight into the spirit of the Great Falls Budokan. |
